San Antonio Attractions

During your visit to San Antonio you will find many attractions to keep your attention. The city features a wide range of things to do during your visit. Whether you prefer history or the wildlife, you can find something to entertain you. The Natural Bridge Caverns, Sea World, The Alamo and Brackenridge Park and the San Antonio Zoo are a few area favorites.

Natural Bridge Caverns
As the largest discovered cavern in Texas, Natural Bridge Caverns features a variety of attractions for the whole family. The Adventure Tour gives a more in depth experience so an avid caver can enjoy the adventure tour, which features a real caving experience. However, other tours give the entire family a chance to experience the beauty of these caverns. Once you are done in the cavern, come back to the surface and mine for rocks and visit the gift shop.

Animal lovers will enjoy spending a day at Sea World San Antonio. It features sea creatures from all across the world, and gives tourists an unforgettable experience. Those that enjoy adrenaline rushes will love SeaWorld's roller coasters and rides. With shows, tours and various other family-friendly activities, each member of your group can find something to enjoy during your visit to SeaWorld San Antonio.

The Alamo
The Roman Catholic mission, originally called the Mission San Antonio de Valero, has become a famous historical site for history buffs all around the world. In 1836, the Battle of the Alamo took place at this site. For those interested in an important piece of American history, consider stopping by the Alamo. You will get the chance to learn a lot and have some fun along the way too.

Brackenridge Park
Sometimes you need to simply relax. That's where Brackenridge Park comes into play. In 1899, 343-acres of land was donated to the City of San Antonio by George Brackenridge. From the donation, the Brackenridge Park was created. Today, it features Japanese Tea Gardens, picnic areas, a miniature train, the Witte Museum and the Sunken Garden Theater.

San Antonio Zoo
Ranked as one of the best zoos in the country, the zoo of San Antonio houses over hundreds of different species and thousands of animals. For the species unavailable for viewing, the zoo features a virtual tour that provides pictures and video of several species of animals from around the world.
