Enjoy the cool waters and glistening sand of Beachwalker Park. This beautiful beach is the only public beach on Kiawah Island and has dressing areas, showers, restrooms, picnic tables and grills and a boardwalk that leads through the natural plant life in the park.
A wonderful way to tour the island on your own or with a group, Kiawah offers 30 miles of bike trails and a 10 mile bike path which runs the length of the island. With the newly completed three mile bike path that continue from the front guard gate to the Freshfields shopping center, visitors can take their bikes to do some light shopping. Bike rentals are available at Straw Market, Heron Park Nature Center, and Sanctuary Bike Pavilion.
Embark on one of the many scenic tours Kiawah Island has to offer. Search the creeks and marshes for dolphins, explore the tides and scenery, or go crabbing along the banks. All the tours offer a wonderful experience with great scenic views.

The Ocean Course – Named #1 Golf Course in South Carolina, the Ocean Course hosted the 2012 PGA Championships. Players can enjoy views of the Atlantic Ocean while golfing from all 18 holes.
Osprey Point – This course offers players an unforgettable experience with its natural lakes, maritime forests, and challenging holes.
Turtle Point – One of the longest courses in Kiawah Island, this course offers players a strategic golfing experience.
Cougar Point – Rated Golf Course of the Year by the South Carolina Golf Course Owners Association, and located along the Kiawah River, Cougar Point offers spectacular views and a mixture of scenic challenges.
Oak Point – Located by Haulover Creek and Kiawah River, Oak Point offers surging fairways and challenging greens.
Night Heron Park is a fun and family friendly park that offers an Olympic size pool, children's pool, playground, soccer field, and basketball and volleyball courts. The Heron Park Nature Center offers various programs for kids, such as camp, sports, and arts and crafts.
